Project 1: Online Photo Storage App

Uploading your photos right from your phone camera to an online storage, that’s extremely fast, highly scalable, and secure.  Keeping all your photos in one place, and more importantly freeing up the storage space on your phone which is usually disproportionately taken by photos/videos compared to other apps and files. Now you don’t have to continuously delete apps and photos on your phone to make space for making new memories.

Large size photos and videos take space on your phone, over time as more and more photos and videos accumulate on your phone, you eventually have to either delete them or transfer them to an online storage. You don’t want to delete your memories, and the transfer process is usually so slow that it takes too long to upload even a modest number of items with medium size. Syncing with an online photo storage can solve this problem, but when these very same photos are deleted from the phone they also get deleted from the online storage as well because of the syncing nature. An app that automatically uploads all the photos you take with your phone camera and also has the option to upload photos from camera roll, to an online storage such that process of uploading any size of media is between seconds and milliseconds, and there is no syncing involved which might cause you lose your photos/videos when they are deleted from the phone. The app provides you an extremely fast retrieval of your photos, and offers a highly scalable and secure online storage for all photos and videos over your life times so that you never lose a memory, even your great grand children can find them all in one place. Keeping our memories and moments in the form of photos and videos in a place that we never lose a single one of them is usually of high importance to us.
